Emma Kafton

COO and Co-Founder

“Anyone undergoing fertility treatment deserves empathetic care, and this is what our team delivers as standard.”

Emma co-founded The Evewell in 2018 with a clear purpose: to combine first-class fertility and gynaecological care with a genuinely empathetic, supportive patient experience.

As Chief Operating Officer, Emma works across every area of The Evewell, helping to shape its culture, operations and approach to patient care. She has more than two decades of experience leading teams that deliver exceptional service and has played a central role in building The Evewell from the ground up.

Emma believes that clinical excellence and emotional support should always go hand in hand. From a patient’s first conversation with The Evewell to the care they receive throughout treatment, she focuses on making every part of the journey feel personal, thoughtful, and human.

This approach also influenced the design of The Evewell’s clinics. Emma wanted to create warm and welcoming spaces that feel comfortable rather than clinical, including discreet quiet rooms where patients can wait or speak privately with loved ones and members of their care team.

Working closely with Rebecca Hay and the wider Patient Services team, Emma ensures that patients feel listened to, understood and supported. She is passionate about recognising the emotional impact of fertility treatment, pregnancy loss and reproductive health challenges, and believes that sometimes simply being present and listening can matter more than trying to provide a solution.

Emma is also a passionate advocate for better fertility support and greater understanding of the emotional and practical impact of treatment. She regularly speaks at events, sharing her experience of supporting patients and helping to raise awareness of how individuals can be better supported throughout their fertility journey, both personally and in the workplace.

“You can’t write a policy for providing empathetic care. It has to come naturally from people who care deeply and understand the difficulties our patients may be facing. I’m incredibly proud of our team, and my role is to make sure they have everything they need to provide that care every day.”
