Our lab team have a unique combination of expertise in embryology and embryo genetics, giving them a fundamental understanding of the whole reproduction process from beginning to end.
As a vital team within The Evewell, our embryologists play a crucial role in shaping innovative and creative fertility solutions that improve patient outcomes. With exposure to a wide variety of fertility cycles, you’ll have the opportunity to refine your expertise in this specialised field.
Our extensive training programs and commitment to patient-focused care empower our team to deliver first-class service with precision and compassion, ensuring that our work remains at the forefront of reproductive medicine.
As part of The Evewell embryology team, you’ll be performing and managing key procedures such as IVF and ICSI, assessing and grading embryo quality to select the most viable ones for transfer or freezing, once trained, you’ll be conducting genetic testing of embryos (PGT-A) to detect potential genetic disorders or chromosomal abnormalities before implantation.
Unlike other clinics, you’ll be “patient-facing” in that you’ll regularly meet with our patients, by way of a pre-treatment embryology consultation and then have regular touchpoints throughout their treatment.
It’s vital to find embryologists who are not only technically skilled but can also speak to patients in a transparent, compassionate and clear way.
We provide in-house ICSI and biopsy training and also utilise external courses to ensure robust training. We also provide each embryologist training with a mentor to ensure they are supported in learning this new skill.
We believe in promoting from within, and there are often opportunities for embryologists to apply for a more senior position.
The embryology team are defined by their respect, ethical principles, adaptability, and exceptional problem-solving skills. They take full accountability for their performance, consistently striving to achieve the highest possible outcomes for patients and the clinic.
Dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive environment, the team works collaboratively to ensure every member feels supported and valued. With a continuous drive for improvement, they always seek innovative ways to excel and deliver even better results.
The embryology team is deeply committed to evidence-based practice, recognising the importance of continually developing knowledge and skills to stay at the forefront of the ever-changing and evolving world of embryology and genetics.
