Aida Kaffel

Aida Kaffel is the Lab Manager at The Evewell West London, where her expertise in embryology and andrology procedures, including IVF/ICSI, embryo assessment, vitrification/thawing, and trophectoderm biopsy, ensures the highest standards of lab operations are consistently met. 

Aida oversees all aspects of the lab, ensuring her team is well-supported and continuously advancing in their skills. Aida also conducts thorough data audits and ensures compliance with UK legal requirements for gamete and embryo storage.

Aida is dedicated to providing an exceptional patient experience at The Evewell. Unique to the clinic is the opportunity for all patients to have an embryology consultation before treatment. This approach allows Aida and her team to follow patients throughout their treatment journey, providing personalised care and fostering deeper connections with each individual.

Currently, Aida is working towards completing the Higher Specialist Scientist Training (HSST) programme in reproductive science. Her research focuses on using computer simulation and operational research to optimise IVF lab procedures, including the timing of operations and the allocation of staffing and resources. This innovative approach aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the laboratory, ultimately improving patient outcomes and advancing the field of reproductive science.
