Dr Ewa Goncikowska

Passionate about fertility and an expert in all areas of gynaecology, reproductive treatment and obstetrics, Dr Ewa Goncikowska has over 20 years of experience helping patients achieve their dreams of parenthood.

Having been interested in human biology since she was a young child, and then completing her PhD in a prominent fertility clinic in Poland, Ewa decided to pursue a career in fertility treatment, and in 2015, she combined her extensive knowledge and experience in embryology, fertility medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, to found the FertiMedica Fertility Centre in Poland, offering comprehensive diagnostic fertility treatment.

Ewa has the unique perspective of being on both sides of fertility treatment. She has IVF to thank for both her children and deeply understands the emotions and physical experiences her patients undergo during treatment. This empathetic and caring approach – alongside her personalised, tailored approach to fertility treatment – builds trust and confidence with her patients.

When asked what she enjoys about being a fertility consultant, Ewa replied: “I love to work collaboratively with my patients, considering all reasons why they may be struggling to conceive or carry a pregnancy full term, before we move to invasive treatment. I don’t ever see low AMH as a barrier to conception, and I’ll do whatever I can to help patients become parents.”

Alongside being a fertility and gynaecologist specialist, and treating all aspects of infertility issues, from low AMH and gynaecological conditions such as PCOS and gynaecological endocrinology, Ewa also extends her care beyond conception and specialises in early pregnancy management, and perimenopausal and postmenopausal care, providing insight, care and support for a woman’s entire reproductive life.

Ewa is a member of the British Fertility Society and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology and a founding member of the Polish Society of Reproductive Medicine and Embryology.
