Dr. Julija Gorodeckaja, a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology, completed her training at Vilnius University Hospital in Lithuania. Julia has worked at several London fertility clinics, most recently as Medical Director before joining as Fertility Consultant and Gynaecologist at The Evewell, Harley Street.
Julija is deeply committed to helping patients into the best possible position to successfully carry a pregnancy to a live birth. She collaborates closely with patients and colleagues to provide tailored recommendations, ensuring the best chances for a successful pregnancy and healthy birth. As she puts it, “It’s not just about a positive pregnancy test; I want to help my patients realise their dreams of a successful birth, today and for any future children.”
Her areas of expertise include preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), reproductive genomics, carrier screening for hereditary diseases, fertility preservation, and supporting LGBTQ+ individuals in their journey to parenthood.
In addition to her clinical work, Julija holds an MBA in international healthcare management and has published research in reproductive genomics. She also has experience working as a gynaecologist in a military camp in Afghanistan, where she collaborated with military doctors, local healthcare institutions, and NGOs. She has actively contributed to the PGT clinical program led by Prof. Alan Handyside, Mr. Michael Summers, and Dr. Christian Ottolini, former Lab Director at The Evewell.
